He played for South Freo yesterday and went ok even though the Bulldogs got thrashed. He is rookie listed so he will only play for freo if Simmonds or Sandilands gets Injured.

Interesting to note from that link Ripper was the apparent form of Luke Toia . He will win the Sandover this year cause no matter what he does he is an absolute last resort for Chris Connolly which is a bit of a shame
Yes Hitman I watched some of the game and Toir was good as were Doswell & "Happy" Gilmore.
For Peel Hainsie & Edgecombe were their best players while
Schammer was B.O.G. for the Claremont retirement Village as well so it's good to see the young blokes puttinig on a bit of pressure

Luke Toia I beleive is not part of CC's plans. A great waste of talent but Lukey boy has to take a bit of the blame for his standing to within the club... really his attitude sometimes hasnt been all the best

Toia is still behind Browne, Siegert, Schammer, TLo and Haines.
Luke played very poorly in a practice match, whilst the others have made more of their opportunities at the AFL level this year.
Luke will be let go at the end of this year.

If the Dockers had been able to gain a trade for him Toia would not be at the club now.He is on a fair sized salary and the other clubs were a bit shy to pay for him.A good player out of luck,but then again he had his chances and blew it like so many others who have been at the club.
It is much to late for him to try and resurrect his career now.Pity because he had a bit to offer.
