I hope so. I've got no trades left with him on the pine and a man down in the midfield. With Sandi/Ottens out I'm also missing 2 out of 3 playing rucks so it'll lessen the blow substantially.

Surely Melbourne will take a cautious approach after such a serious injury. Why bother risking a promising young player when the season is long since gone anyway?

You're probably right, and if he comes back it'll most likely be in the vfl first, with only 4 weks in the season remaining I doubt it, but he's hopeful...
