When would be the right time to get him?

Is SC hes around 490k and had a 100 point match and still went down by around 50k. He would be a great pick up IMO and will only get better with more game time. Hopefully he can have a stinker this week but still not get injured and go down around 60k then i might be able to figure out a trade involving Foley.

Also thoughts on a trade Foley for Hayes a couple of weeks down the track?

He is a no go for me this year. Players don't seem to have a massive impact the year after a knee injury. Hodge or Goodwin seem like safer/better bets at the same price.

Dats da dillemna i guess.

One of my faourites...hard NOT to buy him but there's still a lingering doubt after the knee job...he racked up a big score last week but he's definitely short a yrd or two of speed (not that he was ever a racehorse)and not quite himself yet. Second half of the season worries me...he might find it tuff going.

Foley for Hayes...been a plan and its already ON over the next 2 weeks.

Plenty of quality to choose from tho...Hayes, Hodge, Power, Goodwin (Luke Ball will be cheap too).

I've decided its finally time to drop Ball. Awesome player, but losing confidence in his SC ability.

Then there is who to go with...Hodgy, Hayes or Goodwin are the favourites...i reckon Goodwin.

I slotted Goodwin into my SC side for Ryan Griffen today. Good acquisition I think.

Prospectus loves him, in 2006:
*1st in AFL for effective long kicks
*1st in AFL for inside 50's
*5th in AFL for contested possessions
*6th in AFL for uncontested possessions
*3rd in AFL for disposals (ave 27)
*2nd in AFL for goal assists (22 for season)

30 or more disposals in a game 8 times.

Shit. Broken collar bone, out for about 5-6 weeks id say. What a shame. Atleast hes going to be fresh when he comes back, but id say, maybe next year for Hayes in terms of getting him.

Goodwin in doubt this week. May not have been as good a acquisition as you thought
