Nope. Same rules as every other athletics event I believe - i.e. 3 from each country. That's why lost of athletes leave Kenya in these scenarios to try and represent Qatar and other countries, because so many athletes qualify in Kenya, yet so few can be sent.

It's a boring race so far and it's only half way.

In the leading pack of 20 in the marathon everyone has fluro yellow or red shoe's on, a different colour would be nice.

Thought it was worth mentioning that the 2 female 5000m runners that showed great sportmanship to each other many days ago have been awarded the Pierre de Coubertin Medal for embodying the Olympic spirit. Only been awarded 17 times previously.

A Fair effort from a relatively young Oz squad and ith a bit of luck could have been 4 or 5 medals.

Good thing is there is enough young talent to mature over the next 4 years and push themselves at 2017 and 2019 World champs before 2020 in Tokyo.
