QT, i think he won the Victoria Derby, name of horse escapes me, but ill check it out for you

hayes did win the darby in 1999 with blackfriars

he also won the 99 australian cup with istidaad

he won the 1995 emirates stakes cant remember what horse he then doubled up and won in 96 with miss margaret

13 group one winners in total and over 130 winners in total
and rated in the top 20 trainers in australian history

Walshy, the horse was Seascay.
Tragic loss, he seemed like a really good bloke. Even sadder to hear he was considering retiring within the next 6 months.
