How good are these kids?

Seriously, I can't get over how important they are to us, apart from White, they are our two most important players imo.

Rivers gets to EVERYTHING down back, last weekend when Milne had an absolute sitter coming towards him in hte dying minutes what does Riv do? Runs his guts out, gets to Milne in the nick of time and punches damn hard, knocking him to the ground and the ball out of bounds.

I don't need to talk McLean up much, he's quite simply playing at the elite midfielder level. Ridiculously good for his age.

But am I correct in assuming they're both out of contract at years end? Because if so, we damn well better be doing everything we can to re-sign these guys.

I thought they signed not long ago for 3 years? If they did, then time has flown.

And yes, that Rivers punch was magnificent, I had to stand up and applaud that effort.

Both are stars, we can't say much more to add to what we already know.

Rivers was always going to be a star, showed his class straight away,

McLean i've been amazed with so far this year, deceptively quick and always has time on his hands, not to mention a beautiful kick of the football.

Its great to be able to watch these 2 in full flight every week.

I heard somewhere that Jared was pretty homesick early on in his career...Hopefully he's a genuine Melbourne boy and won't want to leave. On the other hand, I hope Juddy gets a horrible case of homesickness and wants to come home to play for the team he idolized as a kid!

Ive seen rivers out in melbourne heaps, he loves the nightlife and their aint any in adelaide so for this reason he looks safe

You have a very good point there RJ. They are fantastic. Brock is still yet to get better (Lets all remember he isn't getting a tag yet) and same with Rivers, who I still believe can hold up CHB as he can still put on more weight and just reads it so well (Remember him beating Brown last year at the GABBA?).

Woosha is a smart coach. You shut down Brock, you shut down our midfield.
Thankfully Brocky broke away and still managed to have a good game.
