I agree with all that. Put me down for the same votes. Almost had a tear in my eye watching Macca today. Couldn't be happier for the guy. Awesome game.

5 - Shaun McManus - For the amount of crap this guy gets, he is all heart. He really stood up today with some good hard play and great running.
4 - Troy Cook - Great tackles, pressure and plenty of run really made cookie look like he was playing at home.
3 - Peter Bell - What can you say, a great linking player, does this week in week out.
2 - Matthew Carr - Really put his foot down when it counted, kicked some good goals and took some great marks.
1 - Paul Medhust - Played a good game in the forward line, should have had a few more goals and cometimes gave the ball off a bit too quickly, but was great.

Apoligies to the rest of the team. Especially Bell, Medhurst, Pavlich, Polak, Haddrill and Headland.

Just rewatching the match and Polly pulls down some towering marks. He's going to make a great CHF/FF one day.

Schammer was exciting to watch. He will be a great player for us in the future. He backs his ability to outrun and evade opponents and he is extremely damaging by hand and foot.

Polak's contested marks across half back were good as well. He was only outmarked on one occassion IIRC.

5 - Cook
4 - McManus - one of the best games i've seen him play, he really only made one complete balls up all day, and that was booting it out on the full from the boundary after trying to ar*e a goal.
3 - Haddrill - Best player in the 1st half, an absolute rock. Made 3 great smothers as well.
2 - Bell
1 - Medhurst

5.McManus: I agree with everything that has been said here, for so long hes been the heart and soul of the side and though its taken its time he still may yet turn into a good player.

4.Medhurst: Livewire in the forward line as usual though should have kicked more goals. He is fast becoming our most dangerous forward in a forward line that boasts the likes of waterhouse, longmuir and at times Pavlich.

3.Peter Bell: As per usual from bellie

2.Robert Hadrill: Its kinda sad to think that Hadrill and McPharlin may not both be able to operate in teh same backline, even scarier is that who do we drop for McPharlin?. 2nd in the league at defensive marks.....nuff said

1.Carr: Did the tagging job and was attacking up foward....Who says hes not as good as his brother.

Hard to pick last 2 as was a great team effort by the boys

5 - Carr - Along with Bell and the "no-name backline", our most consistent performer. Bonza in attack for a dude who spends so much time tagging.

4 - McManus - Possibly 'Daddy Mac's' finest moment. We were about 15m away and directly in front of him when he saluted the Freo faithful after his goal. Sent shivers up the spine.

3 - Cook - Other than a few average performances away, he's been outstanding this year. Leads the team for inside 50's and his goal-kicking has improved immensely.

2 - Woods - 'The Clontarf Kid' continues to shine.

1 - Haddrill - Captain Dependable.
