What's happened to him? How's his comeback progressing?

I was a big fan of his back in the day, do you still think he is in Freo's best 22 when fully fit?

when are you expecting him to break back into the team?

He will be back in the next few weeks, and yes, he is still our first choice fullback.

He needs at least 4-5 games in wafl. Johnno is doing an outstanding job at full back.

Dunno about OUTSTANDING! He did have 6 goals kicked on him last week...getting alot of the footy, but Connolly needs to get Johnno the right match up each game...I think a Johnson v thurstans match up would be a win for Freo this weekend.

Agree about the right match-ups being important. Just a question. Who would have most say in putting the backline mathups together; Connolly or Harvey?

I would have thought Harvey.

Actually it was four goals and then my man Antoni let him have another two.

Being early in the season you have to expose the young blokes to the guns in the Comp and I thought M.J. did very well.

He was really stiff when Fev was awarded the "mark" he kicked the first one from.

M.J.'s run and evasive skills are amazing for such a big bloke and he rarely wastes a possesion.

I get the idea if your within 40 metres and calling he (as a first option) will hit you on the chest 9/10 times. Sometimes his kicks travel only 20 to 35 metres but his best attribute is he often takes the first option, something good footy players do.
