I would like to take time out and say what a champion this bloke is and wish him all the best for his 250th game! He's not only a champion player, one that I judge at his best, the best onballer I have seen, but also a champion bloke and a real good guy of the world.

I hope he gets 50 possesions, and the 3 votes, but in saying all this, we still need to win and win big, so I hope we belt the Saints by 100 points!

The word champion gets overused a lot, especially by certain hyperbolic media types when describing players. In reality, there are only a handfull of players in the competition who would really qualify for this category.

Robert Harvey is definitely one of them.

I do believe I will stand and applaud him as he breaks the banner tomorrow night.



(It should be noted that I very rarely ever acknowledge an opposition player - the last one I stood to applaud was Jim Stynes when he did his farewell lap the year after he retired)

well said I toally agree n if Saints wern't playing as this week I woould of been happy to see them win for Harvey's 250th game.

in the other thread i said that 98.5% of richmond supporters were feral. obviously you lot are in the remaining 1.5%.


harve's has been my favorite player for ten years and a win tonight would be due reward for a champion player.
