Shirley had a great game. Is very underated in my opinion

Loved the comment in the commentary on TV after he boated a goal in the third quarter "even guys with names like Shirley are kicking goals against Port" something like that

He is a gun and opposition beware this guy can not only shutdown midfielder's but is very effective around the packs

That's it mate. Not only is he a quality run-with player BUT he can also find the ball himself. More often than not, he actually picks up more stats than the fella he is minding, especially in the 'non-negotiables' department.

Its amazing what Craig has instilled in these boys that were considered this time 12 months ago as no good, trade bait, delisting status, etc.

this was my favourite part. Byron does look a little scared. Would of been nice to see a few more of the back bone grp in there too, rutten was the only other one from memory.
