it's Walls. Let's face it, less informed than hodgepodge .............
Walls can be a flog at times, but he has come out and said many many times he loves us Cats. And he will generally put up his hand and admit when he got it wrong - unlike that complete ego, the tosser King. How he gets a gig is beyond me.

what he says and what he does are different things. Listen to the 07 GF commentary again .....

he is a classic for coming out early and bagging a player, and then having egg all over his face. Same as Marc McClure - it must be a carlton thing

FFS I am getting worried cos I don't mind McClure either! Having said that I haven't listened to or seen much footy this year yet cos of work and travel.

Walls is still OK IMO.

As for Bruce, who should be required to have both hands on top of the table when calling, and Commetti - ugh. Confected musac-like pop crap.

I like being deaf because I choose to not listen to the commentary is isnt a big deal watching a game on mute.

Being use to silence and all that without wearing the hearing Aids

Gee being patchy at the start of the year, we can't possibly go well then this year I mean you must be firing at peak performance from round one.

Did anyone else watch the Cats first three games? We won, but we have been very patchy. You can't be patchy against Sydney in Sydney, you need four great quarters.

Blimey, look at me siding for Robert Walls

sydney hasn't been patchy?

Ominously like the start to 2011, but without Otto, Lingy, Scarlo, Dasher ... ummm, yeah.
and Duncan more experienced, Christianson, Motlop, T Hunt etc etc - FFS, you could look at the start of 2011 and see who was missing from 2007 and tear up. How about half full rather than half empty?

I thought his comments were fair. The swans were allowed the luxury of two easy games to get into the swing of things. You can see their momentum building up to the point were they were exceptional against North in the second-half. We've had more a fits and starts beginning to the season, when we're on, we've been very good, when we're not, we've not been very good. Combined with the reality that they did finish six places higher than us last year and are continuing that form and are playing at home then there is no doubt in my mind that this is our biggest challenge so far this year and that we will have to improve on our efforts so far.

I agree it will be big test but the Swans have played one quarter of football against the kangas and had the softest start to the season of any team on the other two rounds
I wonder if Sydney are the only premier to have such a soft opening 3 rounds after winning the flag in the past decade.

This is the same Throbbie Balls who on On The Couch on monday night said Geelong had given up 5-6 goal leads in every game this year
Noddy Sheahan corrected him and said it only happened against Carlton, the other 2 games they were 5-6 goals behind.

He also refered to our missing "experienced" players and named Vardy as one of them.Um Throbbie,he's only played 11 games.

didn't mind that fluff piece.

Where's the one by Lloyd who criticizes our lack of foot speed at the beginning of 2012? and he said Wells has not recruited players with pace to to burn even though Lloyd was questioned about players such as Christensen, Hunt, Motlop, Smedts etc

Meh Swans Draw and COLA kind of takes away all their acheuvments in my eyes.

Of we do lose it won't matter too much as I know which club has the more legitimate success and respect.

I didn't see what was so bad about it. He's entitled to his opinion, and we have been patchy. Nothing wrong with pointing that out.

I get to watch the game by myself tonight. Fairly confident that my comments towards the commentators will resemble the dialogue from Deadwood at some point.
