And my teammate initiates a forfeit vote LOLOL.


We end up winning 5 - 1 but it gets weird at the end one of the opponents writes "You should have died at Bondi Beach"

Last night on pc we won a tournament round andddddd:

Tonight on Xbox we were doing ok early but fell away toward the end. Our leading scorer then decides to pay myself and the other guy out. Like he was superior because he scored goals, I have more saves than both of them combined!!

Funniest thing was the user then keeps messaging me, this time through the Xbox service itself. Campaigner!


In saying that I just won the 3 v 3 tournament tonight

Probably would have lost int he first round, but in the warm up.... one player quit as they took offense at the team name - something about Takumi. Then a second player quit as they didn't want to play 2 v 3, the lone player battled for a minute before quitting due to being overwhelmed.


Then we got into a rhythm in R2. the QF and SF. However in many of those stages the foot was taken off the pedal several times as the person who SHOULD have been taking the kick off would go idle for a few minutes here and there, stuffing up our structure massively.

We easily won leg 1 of the first final (which was funny as we were 3rd in goals scored on the tournament ladder, and 3rd by about 11 goals). But leg 2, what I described before about a teammate going idle happened at the start of the second leg . I was mega pissed as we could have wrapped up the series earlier than we did. The second leg got closer, but we just ran out of time and lost 4 - 3.

The deciding leg was won 3 - 0. Its amazing what happens when everyone turns up.

I had issues in my game, the stiff car syndrome was back (took ages to turn) which made it harder to play. But amazingly I guessed right with a lot of my goalie saves (finished on top of the goals saved leaderboard too lol).

Some RL madness on Boxing Day

0 - 4 down with not long to go and we forced it into overtime..... and won after 2:50 of the ball bouncing around pinball style from end to end

Haha was that deliberate and executed to perfection or just a shot in hope ?

I've angled my car on purpose with some shots - mentally picturing where the ball "should" go if landed correctly. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

My favourite is the out of position acceleration to goal and backwards flip "in hope". Funny thing is that I've done it many times to stop a goal. To the point where I do it thinking it'll work 99.9% of the time. But the reality is maybe 45%-60%.

It's always in hope haha, I don't want to hit it too hard (otherwise I'm starting a counter attack for the oppo), just soft enough to try and get it under the crossbar, and even if it did hit the bar, I'm hoping the 3rd man is there to get the tap in.

First series of games since last weekend and I end up playing in a team that wins the 3 v 3 nightly tournament
Very strange night, ping between 15-30, yet it felt like 500+ with the reaction times varying contest to contest. Had a shocker opening match (stuck on 8 and 24 before finally doing something useful in the final minute lol).

Game 2 I proved to be more useful (and indeed throughout the tournament itself) I was the spark that got things going, scoring 2 reactionary goals (defensive nudges that did enough for the ball to sail to the other end and thanks to dumb opponents - letting the ball through lol).

Then I just did a mix of attack and defence throughout the QF, SF and final series itself.

Monday night tournament victory

Only real challenge was the final - we were the top scoring team going in. They only just beat us in leg 1 (made a few stupid mistakes which led to easy goals for them). Leg 2 was going the same way but we remained composed - had 4 minutes to make up a 0 - 2 deficit which we did. They surged ahead again by another 2 goals, we made up the difference again, sending it into over time. Both teams sizing each other up, but unable to convert. I scored the OT winning goal by sheer fluke (lost control of the car in mid air) but my teammate saved the day and helped the ball into the back of the net.

The deciding leg was just as tense, both teams scored firecracking goals, and the game was decided in over time once again. We won and won in style.
