Is a mad bummers supporter, and he hates us..

............but never has a better explanation ever been written about our football club.

The Tigers haven't failed these past five season only because of their coach. It's too pat, too easy, to sheet home to one man the blame for poor list management, the failure of senior players and the overall culture surrounding a club that still has an uncomfortable need to pay continual homage to its golden era now some 35-odd years ago.

Suck it up Caro.

fairly meaningless article really, blood obvious we recognised the solution involved more than simply the coach, thats why Miller was sacked / replaced and new assistants bought in.etc etc ..Certainly havent got the impression anyones suggesting he's the solitary reason otherwise he would have been sacked at R4 at the behest of ferals like I,

What on earth could this mean?

"the overall culture surrounding a club that still has an uncomfortable need to pay continual homage to its golden era now some 35-odd years ago"

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As always you miss the point. At least Connolly accuses us of being obsessed with paying homage to the last premiership side. You're too busy idol worshipping Free and Campbell who played in our worst era ever!

You shocker

get some new material 80, im growing weary of your monotonous vitriol directed at the RFC, none of it makes any sense, you obviously live by the creed that mud sticks rather than adding anything remotely constructive to the debate

Blow jangles, I will never grow weary of sticking it up you.

LMFAO at being accused of directing vitriol at a disfunctional club that hasnt got a single coaching appointment right in 30 years.

why don't you take up a new past time then , I hear that Ashtons circus needs a new clown:D

So is he saying that everytime the Premiership boys have a reunion or Everytime us old timers bring up a old timer thread that blokes are struggling to play football.

Did David King and Jade Rawlings play in that golden era where we are giving jobs at the football club to these blokes.

Anyone able to explain why reference to those times interferes with the present.

FFS....Is there a Journo we like here?

I personally like Grant Thomas's thoughts at times. Love how he hates the AFL.
But Thomas doesn't like the Tiges.

I enjoy listening to David Parkin on Foxtel.
But he hates us too.

Hutchy hates Caro....And Caro is Richmond to the core.
But Caro bakes us at times.

So what can we do????
We can't have it all our way, all the time.

I actually quite like Caro on FC, especially when surrounded by the tools she hangs out with on the panel. She's actually logical, clever and calm.

I like everyone on 774, Wheatley, Lane, McClure, Molloy, Alves, Lonergan, Morphett etc. Wheatley is the best, most honest journo in the game.

I'll give it a go, 1980GFV. I think its that "Richmond people for Richmond" mentality that the club had for years after our Golden era. Just look at the end of last year. St Kilda deliberately targeted someone from Geelong for an assistant, Adelaide deliberately targeted someone from Hawthorn as an assistant, Richmond deliberately targeted an ex-Richmond player as an assistant.

Maybe I'm misjudging things, but since Free went onto the board there seems to have been increased rumblings along those old Richmond people for Richmond lines.

Perfect response.

hmm ok, im hearing ya crum , remind me once again how we went when signing a 5 x B&F ex Hawk , Bulldog premiereship player as a 5 yr coach with able assts in King, Mcrae and Royal:confused:..worked a treat would you say...Im all for secururing the best people to tigerland but ppppleaseeeeeeee dont discount anyone simply coz they played with us....a little short sighted perhaps

All those blokes who think because we're a big 4 club with 10 premierships on the shelf that things will work themselves out all on their own.

Blokes who jump on the bandwagon after a couple of wins, lavish a young player as a superstar after a couple of good games....

When you're living off your past glories, you never really believe you deserve to be in the wilderness. Thats the culture of the RFC. We havent come to terms with our failure and are therefore destined to keep repeating it.

Lucky for us there is no relegation in AFL to the lower leagues unlike other football codes. Or we'd know first hand why they tell people the bigger the club, the harder the fall.

its called getting people who are an integral part of a successful circle into the club to help close the gap in our footy department by passing on valuable experience gained in "worlds best practice"

hawks did that with clarko and hardwick from port, saints did it with the geelong bloke (tudor?), adelaide took viney. All these guys were at the forefront of club success relative at the time. Funnily enough Lyon came from the swans when they were at their peak, they all bring a process that is proven successful. Makes sense to me

Why do you keep needing reminding that we've played finals twice in 27 years.

You cannot build success by employing the same losers that know nothing but failure.

fortunately 80 we have a few heavy hitters that support this club that are both forward & lateral thinking and as einstein once said "Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

there's a momentum shift at this club, yesterday was the first step and you can either get on board or get out of the way

listen up, i realise we're not on the same wavelength, so I'll spell this out nice and slow.......dont go ****en well blaming wayne campbell for the **** of an era he played , if he indeed had 16 teammates worthy of representing victoria and attaining AA selection then be rest assured history would have been different...or if you dont understand that boofhead, howsabout if we had 14 other players of delidio and cotchins class you think we'd be on 2 wins....and hows richo rated , a loser:rolleyes:...Now Im going to take it easy on ya coz you're a tiger although I do have my doubts that you could indeed be a filth/maggot imposter...I'll think of a couple of survey questions in a minute just to test you out...How long you been a tiger supporter for so i dont make the questions too hard

LMFAO at you blowjobandswallows17

LMFAO at heavy hitters like Tony Free who still talks with the crooked mouth Brereton gave him

LMFAO at Rawlings and Campbell leading the momentum shift

LMFAO at how some Richmond supporters keep deluding themselves

I would have sacked Wallace in a minute for Buckley. But you're too stupid to see we have no coach in waiting just like Balme and Pelchen wouldnt touch us, neither will the best 2 or 3 coaches available for 2010 either.

And you thing Sheedy will deliver you a premiership in 2 years.

FFFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFLMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

LMAO @ you two duking it out ...

but you do make a relevent point 80 ... when we ended up with the potatoe farmer we were one of the last ones in the coaching market and it reflected in who we ended up with as all other candidates were either spoken for or not interested.

This time we are the first ones with our toes in the water ... no excuses

March better get his man this time round tis all i can say
