Just wondering peoples thoughts on these two.
Who would you prefer to have if you could only have 1 in your SC team?

ROK or J.Brown?
 
New thread probably not necessary here mate... There's already the trading thread, the X vs Y thread and the Player discussion thread..

In terms of the trade, I would suggest ROK based on consistency

I have a delemma..

Here are my options..

A) Out: B.Harvey, In: ROK
B) Out: R.Gray, In: J.Brown

Who do i persist with Harvey or Gray? Who would I prefer ROK or Browny?

You going to drop Harvey after one shit game? I have him and he ain't going anywhere. ROK is a upgrade target for me later but his price isn't going to jump dramatically and it may ease a bit at some stage. I wouldn't panic trade just yet.

I can see why you want to get on Johnno over Gray but I'm not convinced that's a great deal either. Gray could be back in a week or 2 and Johnno could cool off a bit too. Gray for ROK I can understand, but I wouldn't do Harvey at this stage.

That isn't the case it is really just the amount of unecessary threads have exploded over the last few weeks.

Oh and to answer your poll, ROK for consistency although Brown is in great touch

It's just that my forward line is really struggling at the moment so I think i need to do something about some of the problem areas...

At the moment i have
Riewoldt, Harvey, Gray, Tippett, Medhurst, Ziebell, Rockliff - Hitchcock, Gumbleton

It's hard not to want to trade.. What would you do?

Definately go with ROK, way more consistant.

I"d be more interested in getting rid of Tippet.....
 
Started off with ROK and just burnt Clark and Tippett to get him and Seabs in:eek::p!
 
This thread all of a sudden takes on a hell of a lot more relevance for everyone with Roo!?!

I was thinking of JB as the obvious choice, but definitely need to give consideration to ROK.

Only hesitance is too much premium forward reliance on Sydney with Goodesy already in my team.

Except other way around for me, I have ROK and would like Goodes but that is a big risk to take. If Sydney dominate a game i'll be laughing but if they struggle I could be in a bit of trouble. But if you look at both their scores from last year, especially in the second half, they both domintated with their lowest combined score being 165 in round 21. Still very solid and that's their worst round, once or twice they scored over 300 combined. Very tempting...

I laughed when I read the Brown at AAMI comment... Brown loves playing Port.

I'd take Brown over ROK (and have done so, for Tippett last week) because he's banking the points now while he's racking up huge scores. ROK will average about the same for the year I feel, so whenever you can get him in he'll be about the same in terms of points value.

In the meantime I'll kick myself for being about $1.5k short of a Roo --> ROK trade.
