Rookie Elevation

With Rama on the long term injury and Lloydy set to join him. Will the club upgrade 2 rookies (Jolley and Hocking most likely) or just 1 of them or neither. Thoughts??

They won't upgrade anyone until they are ready to be selected.

At the moment Jolley looks the most ready, but there are whispers around that Firman is impressing the coaching staff.

Hocking needs to play some footy first.

Said they would make no decision until end of the week. Jolley in best for Bendigo three weeks running but when you are getting thrashed by 10 goals even he admits he would rather have the team winning firstly. Think they will elevate only one. Key position or midfielder?? The midfield ain't that flash at the moment. Jolley deserves his chance.

The only true, key position rookie we have is McKinnon (Ruckman) and he's out for the year.

O'Keefe is a tall flanker, the rest midfielders.

i think they will elevate 1 and that would be jolley IMO. i think they will wait on the second elevation as i think they will wait for hocking to play some football first before they decide between him and firman.

I'd give Jolley his chance. Paul Barnard has compared him to Jason Johnson. Big rap. Then let the other boy's fight it out for the remaining spot.
