Just bringing another thread back from teh dead.

Stoudemire, Gooden and Butler still going strong, while Wagner continues to rise up - now averaging over 21 pts per game, 5 assts. Granted he is getting huge minutes but this kid has definitely got something.

Jay Williams has no chance because hes still adjusting to the triangle... which is totally not suited for a player like him.

Gooden is a black hole.. he cant pass that rock... nor does he really try

Amare is a very mature player for a H'Schooler.. a real steal

Yao Ming though.. is clearly the best at the moment

Another Duke bust fools another team into taking him early.. Mike Dunleavy

A very deep draft 2002 was

Here are playes who are making an impact for there team after being drafted in the 2nd rd of the 2002 NBA Draft.

Dan Gadzuric (Milwaukee)
Carlos Boozer (Cleveland)
Milos Vujanic (New York) - Hasnt played NBA yet, but is on fire in Europe, and looks a real good prospect next seson
Lonny Baxter (Chicago)
Rasual Butler (Miami)

Players taken late in the first rd have also shown promise

Juan Dixon (Washington)
Casey Jacobsen (Pheonix)
Chris Jeffries (Toronto)

Juan got picked up a little early according to all these mock drafts but in my opinion it was a great move.

When he was at Maryland he showed his real class. The kid is a winner, he has the heart to succeed. Dont worry about height, Juan will work hard every second he is on the court, and in the end benifit his team.

Juan Dixon will be a very good player for the Wizards.

I agree. Nobody else did when he was drafted.
