The fact you're talking about two 'bland', good looking young-ish men might give you your answer as to why they were hired. Particularly given everything we hear about TV execs continuing to be pretty unreconstructed in how they see their industry and their audience.

Just saw him on ch9 footy show. As soon as I saw him I thought - ch9 you idiots! Sloane is anything but an entertainer. Very boring character. A good man, but just no.. stay in the background.

As for Korn, I'm not a big fan, but he had chemistry with the other guys. They all had a laugh, it was decent.

It sucks because the SFS was the only footy show I enjoyed and looked forward to watching. I can't watch anything with Sam Mclure or Tom Morris and channel 7 doesn't upload anything to youtube which is the only way I can watch. I know there are some randoms who upload the 7 shows but they seem very inconsistent
