Its no good playing underdone players. Our selection strategy has been inconsistent this year which is a major frustration - eg Hargrave and Hall returned after injury via Williamstown and Lake told to build his fitness base and confidence, yet Wood and Higgins walk back in and are clearly not ready, while Cooney has openly said he has played below 90%.

Markovich looked out of his depth today and Williams has used up all his free tokens.

Grant, Gilbee, Picken may escape the axe.

Out: Stack, Wood, Markovich, Williams, Moles

Let's face facts. Gia, gilbee, cross and Hudson are simply too slow for today's footy. Forget Gilbee's goals last week. Clearly time to bite the bullet. We have nothing to lose and good clubs make hard decisions. I hope we do this week:

Out - Gia, gilbee, cross, hudson, grant, stack
In - cooney, hall, lake, Cordy, howard, wallis

Cross and hudson have been superb for us, but time waits for no man, and time has passed these guys by unfortunately. The club is bigger than the individual and its time to move on these guys.

Our backline conceeded the highestever score against the Eagles, the AA Fullback didn't play and you can't see him coming back?

Good call. Lets hope the team that you support are as clueless next week - we need all the luck we can get...

Pointless rushing him back pretty sure he still needs a couple more weeks in the 2's as horrendous as our backline was today we still shouldn't bring him back in just yet he's not ready.

You are correct. I wish he was on the senior list. He shows some passion, he works hard, and he does things for the team.

The "AA Fullback" with the spare tyre and disinterested look running around the VFL.
 
Rocket and the MC can play it a number of different ways. Put the acid on them and make minimal changes (soft, but we do it a lot) or say to hell with it and sting a few blokes.

If they go the second way any of the following could be dropped:
Markovic
WIlliams
Gilbee
Grant
Minson
Giansiracusa
Higgins
Stack
Cross
Wood
Moles

We play a side with limited ruck stocks so Hudson is safe I think.

He is the AA Fullback, dont know why you use inverted commas as if it is an opinion.

Spare tyre?...hmmm, he is currently 3kg lighter than last year.

Disinterested? I spoke with him after training mid week and he is chompng at the bit to get back in. Perhaps it is time to return to your Hawthorn page, as your knowledge here is not up to scratch.

Eade will spin this as an aberration and make no or little changes. Maybe Moles will be dropped for Wallis as Sub.

Where did I say he was up to it?
If you can't see why dogs fans would snap at an opposition supporter right about now then yes, you are indeed clueless.
 
Out:
Grant - been on the out list for far too long now
Stack - to get Schofield in
Moles - hasn't had much of a chance. Being sub just doesn't work for him
Higgins - Out until he gets two BOGs for Willi


In:
Hall - obvious in
Schofield - rewarded
Wallis - game time
Addison - shows heart at least

I'm fearful of the Williams v Franklin match up :(

Out:
Stack - horrific, dare anyone to defend his spot in side as a defender, he is in as a forward or not at all, preferrably not at all, definate delisting at years end.
Hudson - Game has passed by, was good against a shocking opponent last week, can no longer match it against decent opponents and is forcing Will to play out of position as a forward when he is our number 1 ruckman.
Cross - My favourite player so it's hard to say but with the zones and speed up of play his slowness and opposition backing off him making him kick he is simply too much of a liability now, isn't getting it done this year.
Grant - Been calling it for weeks, he is lazy and last years form went to his head, doesn't chase, doesn't tackle, and doesn't block for teamates, back to Willy son earn your spot as Jones has gone past you at a rate of knots.
Moles - 2 weeks as sub, can't be 3 and doesn't offer enough to be in 21

In:
Hall - obvious replacement for Grant
Howard - Replaces Stack in defence, needs to have a shot, could make a dozen bad decision next week and still be an improvement on Stack.
Schofield - Aggression is badly lacking in team at moment, he brings that as well as speed and can play both ends.
Cordy - Big Call but been good for Willy and hawks have very limited rucks and could play pinch hitter ruck against Bailley who is about his level anyway, may offer something up forward.
Cooney/Wallis- If available, Wallis if not.

And no Lake, looks like a player sooking at Williamstown, make him earn spot back even if Franklin will likely kick a bag next week. No player is above the team.
