We will miss Carr and Woods who have been awesome for us this year, but hopefully we do a decent job covering them, which should be helped by Parker coming back and McPharlin playing.

I hope Everitt doesn't play, either.

Also good to see Headland, Farmer and Hayden back.

And it will be interesting to see who the unlucky one to be chopped will be...

Apart from Richie (and he would be a bit stiff) no one deserves to be dropped.

What about when Splinter & Matt Carr are back?

They may give the big fella a rest if Everitt doen't play.

The tele reception in Meeka must be a bit snowy these days, Richie being stiff, he was very very ordinary against Geeelong.

The forecast is for 9 and maybe snow.

I can understand CC may think of holding Sandilands back because of the conditions, but he is valuable for the team, talls don't get any smaller in the wet and we may as well take advantage in the ruck.

Yeah, I can't see Sandilands playing if Everitt out and it is raining.

And yeah, Cunningham was shocking against Geelong I thought.

I agree that richie wasn't that good early (I am being kind) but generally would get a couple of games before getting dropped.

I hope the big Fella does play as I reckon he will be really something when he goes up (if he is not already). :)

You have a look at that team with Matty & Splinter back in and it has flag written all over it in the future . At full strength and in form I can't spot a weak link, but maybe I am not objective enough. :)

That is our final side.

Cunningham is travelling as the emergency ahead of T.Lo and Thornton.

For our full strength side, IMO Carr would replace Siegert but who would Woods replace?

Should be , He has had a foot problem and had it operated on.

He adds another dimension to our midfield and will need to go well on sunday (and next week) with Matthew Carr out suspended. :(

IMO, he'd probably replace Koops. Koops would probably make the starting 22 for most sides though.

I don't buy the theory about not playing him if it rains. IMO he becomes more valuable in the wet. His biggest asset is that he almost always gets first hands to it and taps it to our favour. That doesn't change in the wet, and if it's a real slogfest, if he can get it moving in our direction which is doubly important, especially late in the game.

He rarely has much impact around the ground wet or dry, and that's where big men lose their worth when it rains, they can't mark and the ball is constantly on the ground. I'd play him regardless.

I agree with you Ripper. Not many people up here really support Des anymore but i'm still quite a fan of his! He's still only 22 and he'll be a gun for you guys.
I hope he's right to play for the game against us next week.
 
If Everitt is out its the perfect time for Sandman to tkae the ruck on his own & for Simmo to patrol the back half.
