Trades Round 14 Trades

Yeh, I know I'm a little early with this, but I have next week's trades planned out already.

Was initially going with:

Hannan -> Beech
Nank -> Grundy

Scooter injury stuffs up that trade a little. If it looks like it'll be longer than a week I might go:

Scooter -> Parto (providing he plays)
Hannan -> Grundy (via Nank forward)

Then I can prime Nank for a trade to Barlow the week after. Robs my Midfield but strengthens both Ruck and Forwards.

Also thinking Kreuzer might be an option over Grundy?

Depending on the extent of his injury it'll be:

Scooter -> Sheed
Marchbank -> Lloyd

Leaving cash in the kitty for a big up/down the following week. Means SPP is in my team for another week, can't get rid of the bloke.

Wait and see on S.Selwood. If only two weeks and no good rookies then probably hold, otherwise perhaps upgrade earlier than expected to a premo mid.

Pending B/Es and debuts. But that's the plan. Then upgrade Newman to Laird the week after.

Hopefully Scooter was just a precaution with 10 days until their next game and he plays.

If all goes well I'll with $172k in the bank I'll probably downgrade a rookie (Stewart, Cousins, etc.) and then move Parson up to someone like Yeo or a premo ruck by moving Nank back forward.

Yeah nice nice. Not sure I'll be able to get rid of Nank haha (not that I necessarily want to - would be good F5/F6, but need to move him on from R2 I think!).

Unfortunately I dumped Newman when he was dropped and have missed the points and cash...

That's unfortunate on the count of Newman. Sydney and the Traders screwed everyone every there. Nank most likely will be F6 come end of the year for me, he's a perfect Ruc/Fwd guy.

If Yeo comes in for me he'll most likely be in my Mid for the long haul, at the moment guys like Barrett + SPP are still in my mid and I'd rather him keep them out of the side than Nank.

Brought Yeo in this week - solid performance, but lots of Subi games and his consistency is undeniable.
I've kept SPP and Butler over byes but they are priorities once byes are over, given they have plateaued. Barrett I was planning to get rid of r14/15 but with his ability to hit the 90+ scores I'll wait and see - he will certainly appreciate more. T.Stewart scoring well and excellent JS has helped a lot on that front too, gaining an extra 100k that I didn't expect tbh.

Yeah your moves sound logical. Barrett has been the man recently, more than happy to let him rise. Stewart was a miss for me at the start, never lit the world on fire however he's been consistent and increased in price.

I have 9 mids and one was always on the chopping block this week, it seems as though Scooter has put his hand up for the elchoppo. Likely I'll target either Yeo or Merrett and Beech with a bit of dpp massaging.

Merrett is the one i really want though.

Shuey is not getting suspended. It's just Victoria jealousy media bias BS. If that is a suspension then nobody would be available for any game in any week of the competition as they'd all be suspended.
