Unless Swan averages over 100 against the Hawks he wont be mentioned...unless that's what you're saying?

Dane Swan doesn't even get a mention?

Just lost all credibility I'm afraid.

I've never listed players who average under 100 against their opponent in their last 3 games (it's in the column). Just how I do it, and, yes - it probably can be improved. :p
I'll take note of the criticism and perhaps I'll make sure popular captain picks are always noted so people don't get upset that their favourite captain pick isn't in the column.
Hardly say I've lost all credibility due to purposefully leaving someone under my cut-off out of the column though... :o

Not meant as criticism but Sam Mitchell should be considered based on average against the opponent.

Sam's last 5 games against Collingwood (in order of most recent to oldest)

141, 148, 94, 98, 157 = Average 127.6.

Sam Mitchell (shoulder) – test
is why I left him out. I like to take minimal risk with my captain choices (seeing as they're pretty hard to nail anyway :P).
Cheers for the Q though. And I'm welcome to criticism.
I know I come off very defensive but it's hard to be when you put work and time into something and it gets unfairly criticized.
I mean saying I've lost ALL credibility over not mentioning Dane Swan is pretty harsh when I purposefuly left him out and it was stated in the column.

mate keep up the good work, changed my vice captain for the first time in weeks from Roo to NDS last week because you had NDS as your number 1 non ablett captain option, ablett doesnt play, and NDS kills it for me as captain. Back to ablett this week though!
Cheers

Torn between Ablett & Montagna. Would like to go Joey given Ablett is returning from injury, but Ablett is up against Melbourne as opposed to Joey who's got the Crows.

Maybe. But you DO keep saying that a player is in form as a validation for why they should be picked. And if Swan isn't in form (His lowest score in the last seven outings was 107 and is averaging 130+), I don't know what form is.
