Ofcourse our side isn’t super young , 2016 finals series was just on 3 seasons ago now

You can only move so many players on per season . We most likely will be a fair bit younger again next season .

But in comparison to 50-60 games ago we are fair younger and more inexperienced
In that time most sides have moved in the other direction

I watched the 2nd half. Was surprised at Langfords stats, seemed to have much more impact breaking away from contests then his stats suggested. Although didn't seem to get involved on the spread/switch.

There is typically about a year or so on average between the oldest and youngest 22 that runs out each week. Hawthorn have several 30 plus players (including Burgoyne) which increase our average age and experience. When aren’t running out an ancient side v a bunch of kids every week. We just have a few older plus, we then have a gap where there are few players and then a bunch of younger players. As the older plays retire and young players come in or are replaced by recruits, the average age won’t change much but will be a different profile primed to win a flag.

Depending on matchups I think if there is a late change it will be for Brand, unless someone is carrying a niggle.
