What a game! Pretty good effort from the younger guys Bolton did ok for once and Lalich was handy in teh ruck. Hille won his share as well but was benched.

3: Johnson: As always
2: Hardwick: Solid in defence
1: Alessio: That one mark and goal. Plus the three others he kicked, stepped up.

0.5 Cant decide yet...

3 That man with 11 on his back
2 Alessio, stood up when it counted
1 Johnson

Go Bombers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now I'm off to find my voice......

3 D.Hardwick.....hard as nails
2 S.Alessio.....what Dave said
1 M.Bolton.....best game for the club

3. D.Hardwick - tough as nails. Strong 4 qtr effort
2. D.Fletcher - the general. Kept us in the game with Hardwick.
1. S.Alessio - really stepped up today and showed what he is capable of. 21 hit-outs to boot.

Bolts was terrific, particularly after half time. Was interested to hear what Shaw said after the game about him. I'd say that game may well be the making of the kid. Great effort Mark!

Bolton was terrific too, I think all of the young guys played pretty well.

Shaw said that he'd been at the club for a few years without grasping his chances and was told that this year (or perhaps this game) there'd be no grey are, either he'd make his name as a player or he'd be finished. That's not the exact wording but it was pretty much the gist of it.

He went on to say that they were very happy with him as a maych up for Goodes as he is a similar player (can run all day etc) and that they were pleased with his efforts.

And I was there too :)

Not much chance of that, I parked up near PH ;) I take a radio.

Bolton just may be a late bloomer.

He took a clutch grab in the dying minutes of the game, smartly played on and then centred the ball (resulting in a goal).
