Round 19 trades

For many people (myself included) this could be your last week of league competition if you don't come out with a win. For me it's make or break with only 2 trades left.

Using prcies calculated from tooserious i'm thinking of going

Beams -> Ablett = -277767
Higgins -> Davis = -68452

Which will leave me with a bank balance of just less than 2k.

Alternatively I could do one of these trades and save the last for an injuries, although I think it would be better to do down in a blaze of glory.

The top 4 in the comp all have Ablett so if I get him it will be to nullify the other teams if he pulls out a monster score. Alternatives could be anyone besides Swan. current midfield is NDS, Judd, Selwood, Goodes, Cooney, Anthony.

Davis just seems at too good value to ignore so I will definitely get him.

I have two top 4's so I can't complain BUT week 20 of competition has bad matchups if i loose....

and then do i do trades now so i get best players or do i hold them off as they may be injured... rrr

i am top of the league ladder, but the match will be a close one..

i don't know whether to get rid of Skippy or Higgins in my forward line, as it is obviously my weakest part. I only have the one trade left.
I can trade:
Skippy to someone less than $431,400
or
Higgins to someone less than $486,700

At the moment Higgins seems better, cause i can get someone like Pavlich, or even Davis, but then again, i'm not sure if Skippy is guaranteed a place each week. Also, if Higgins does return, WB verse Geelong then Collingwood in the last two weeks, and i can't see Higgins getting over 100 with them two teams.

What should i do???

I think you'll just be short on the Davis trade this week as he will go up to around 495k this week. I'd be looking at trading out Higgins and keeping Skippy on the bench considering Higgins injury / form / opposition.

Un_OC my opposition this week is probably slightly weaker than me but as we have quite different teams our scores could be quite unpredictable. I usually avg. 2100 but can score between 1900-2400 whereas my opponent only averages 1900, but last time we met he beat me 2200 - 2000

I'm thinking of holding Higgins. For those that have him, Stevie J will be a great downgrade in a couple of weeks. TooSerious has him about about 360k in a couple of weeks. I'd hold of and aim for him if you can, provided he is over his injury.

Hopefully win this week and save the remaining 2 for the prelim. What do people think of this?

Pretty sure its a full torn hammy which will mean his season is over. No other possible trade I could do to possibly get Sandi, and no other Ruckman worth having. Unless I just trade a bench player for the cash.

Big decision to make. I've got Harding out with a hammy, and it's not looking good for him. Doc Larkins expects it to be a 4 weeker. Could easily trade him to Drummond, leaving me with 2 trades left (which is going to bringing in a gun midfeilder). But...

I've also got Kreuzer who is struggling to post good scores. My original plan was to use my last trade to bring in Sandilands for finals and especially the Grand Final (he usually dominates against Geelong).

I've got Pearce/Callum Wilson to fill in for Harding, but I can't trust their scoring output.

I'd look to upgrade whoever you can such that the difference in averages between upgrade / downgrade is the largest. Downgrading Beams to an 80k rookie will net you 300k then you can do Hasleby -> Montagna / Swan or Kark to Chapman.

I'm hoping zero.......

Two of my leagues I finished top so play 4th. Hopefully, I should be able to get 22 on the field this week, albeit with Hill playing in the backline and Jurrah as my seventh fwd. That should be enough for me to get across the line and a week off.

The third game is 5th Vs 9th. Thinking I may be able to hold out against them as well with a fukll team putting off a trade for at least another week.

With one trade and $130k left, I ain't trading until the prelim... hopefully....

Got 3 x Qualifying Finals coming up this week. 4 trades, $162k. In my main comp, I should win, but you never know. I average 2204, him 2056. Am concerned about carrying Higgins and possibly ROK next week, would love to bring in Chappy as my opp has him, as does my likely opp the following week. Chappy's the one guy that I don't have that makes me nervous opposing him. But that'd require a downgrade (about $26k short)...with a total of $590k for Higgins' replacement, the next best options are: Pavlich ($463k, ave 100), J Brown ($565k, ave 101), Buddy ($473k, ave 85) and Goodwin ($507k, ave 105).
