Well, after a big night with an election, 36ers in their first finals match, and the Matilda's in the Asian Cup final, it's time to find out if the Carr has been fixed ahead of Round 2.

First bounce is at 2:45pm - live coverage can be found via Seven, Fox Footy/Kayo, and ABC Radio.

Starting line-up for both teams (pending any late changes):

If it was any other club rather than Essendon, then I’d be a little worried.

This game is like a mini final for Carr and PA, so the Dons can’t win.

Lose to the dismal dons at home and it's

I’m okay with the result either way.

Josh has got them firing.

Our list is completely exposed and we concentrate on rebuilding over the next couple of years though the draft.

Both results work for me.

Feels like the season has been going for a month. Even our away game last week feels like a trial game.

Now we get a footy game in cricket weather.

Looking forward to seeing the lads live again and hoping to be able to watch a full field view of the new game style.

Expect the jets to fire up today and drag a few of the next stringers along with them.

I’m really interested to see the response today.

The boys would respond every time Hinkley was under pressure, I’m sure they’ll get the job done today.

Looking forward to seeing Mead own the backline with his aerial prowess and elite kicking.

Anagram for Jackson Mead is “Sack Jed, man!”

Seriously though, he’s being selected so the coaches see something, so I hope he plays his role well in a good team performance and we win well.

Looking forward to it. Hopefully the tackling effort is there today.

Would like to thank the AFL for consistently planning early season late March games for the middle if the day when the the weather is always warm with little cloud cover and I have to look directly into the sun for three hours.

Special shout out to the SMA for consistently having muppets saying you cant stand there when no one else is around and I try to get two minutes of shade when returning to my seat from getting a six dollar bottle of water.

I expect a reaction from our team following last week. Not 100% sure what that reaction will be.

Carn Ports.
