So Shultz at CHF and RICHO at FF,mm hope Shultz puts in the big one because if gets stuck flat footed and lazy will be every chance of having Richo using his back to take a few speckeys . run Shultz's run this is his best chance to make or break in the Tigers 2008 side but defenatley one of the hardest possies in the gameIMHO.hope he's up to it .

Ritcho at CHF .IMHO:thumbsu::thumbsu:

I remember tivers about 2 or 3 years ago at the dome put in his worst performance ever for the rfc against north melbourne,it was a shocker.:thumbsd:

Yep you remember

My serious guess would be for the 25 named tonight . . .

IN: Hyde, Tivs, Edwards, Morton, Polo
OUT: Johnson, Howat

With preferably Hyde and Tivs emergency with the other 3 fighting it out for the 2 spots.

I'm not bad am I? ;)

How I think the side could end up.

RICHMOND
B: King, Thursfield, Moore
HB: Bowden, Polak, McMahon
C: Newman, Tuck, Raines
HF: Pettifer, Richardson, Morton
F: Deledio, Schulz, Brown
FOLL: Simmonds, Tambling, Foley
I/C from: Pattison, Polo, Jackson, Hyde
Emg: Edwards, Tivendale, Hughes

In the backline, not too much changes from last week, I think Moore will get to start down back with Raines being moved to the midfield and Bowden to the HBF. I think Newman while named on a wing will probably push back into the D50 and play the sweepers role.

Up forward I have Deledio pushed forward to try and stretch the Roos defence. Schulz and Richo swapped around, as I think Richo at CHF will blow up any of the Roos backmen with his running ability and I don't really think that they have anyone who is capable enough in the air to really compete with him anyway, with Brown pushing up the ground like he did last week to try and shake off Pratt, as well as Pettifer and Morton on the HFF's being given a licence to roam far and wide with the purpose of dragging their opponents away from the defensive 50 to again leave plenty of space for both Schulz and Deledio as leading targets out of the sqaure, would back both 1-1 to beat their direct opponents, Deledio with pace and Schulz has shown he can win enough of the ball on classier opponents than Firrito (Glass last year and Micheal in that 6 goal game).

In the middle I have gone with Raines on a wing, showed last week he might be finding the form he had in 06 and with Johnson missing this week I think it is a great opportunity to give him a decent crack at landing a midfield role, where he does not have as much pressure on him as he has been recieving down back. Along with Foley, Tuck, Tambling, Jackson, Polo & Hyde we have a sufficient running brigade that I believe will run the Roos ragged. Not forgetting that we still have the ability to throw a couple of classy performers in Brown and Deledio in the guts for short spells as well.

On the bench I have gone with Pattison obvious choice, Polo, Jackson and Hyde so we have plenty of coverage in terms of keeping the pressure on the Roos with hard and fast running. Due to the forecast showers over the next 3 days I have had to leave out Hughes with the likelihood of the game being played in the wet I just don't think Wallace will want to be caught out with too many talls and not enough runners. We have enough flexibilty in the side that should one of Richo/Polak/Thursfield/Schulz/Simmonds/Pattison get hurt we can adjust the side to cover.

As for the result I'm going with us by 21 points.

Normally the players who are definatly going to play are lined up in the first 18, as Hughes was in there I'm pretty sure he'll get a gig. For me it's IN: Hyde Polo

How i'd like them to line up;

B: King, Thursfield, Moore
HB: McMahon, Schulz, Newman
C: Raines, Tuck, Tambling
HF: Bowden, Polak, Pettifer
F: Hughes, Richardson, Brown
R: Simmonds, Deledio, Foley
INT: Pattison, Jackson, Morton, Edwards

It will never happen of course, but i'd like it. :D

I know this is a constant topic of discussion on this board; but I noticed in the Herald Sun this morning coghlan isnt even playing for Coburg tomorrow. This can only mean two things?

1. We have too much depth atm and others are deserving first opportunity to impress Terry

2. He is still injured and they're trying to hide this fact.....

Out: Howat and Johnson
In: Edwards and Polo

Pretty much straight swap, fast outside midfielder and tagger.

Perhaps Morton for Hughes too, depending on their match-ups. Also would love to sneak Conners in the team somewhere but I cant think of anyone to drop? (good problem to have..)

As I said with the forecast wet weather I think we may end up making a late change with a small coming in for one of the talls and unfortunately for him I think Hughes would be the one who gets the tap on the shoulder. We will find out tomorrow when the Coburg side plays because even though they have to finalise the side tonight I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the emergencies sit out tomorrow.
