FB Newman Thursfield McGuane
HB Rance Moore Polo
C Richo Tuck Edwards
HF Tambling Riewoldt White
FF Morton Vickery Brown
Foll: Simmonds, Foley Deledio
Interchange: Graham Jackson Bowden Schulz

Ins: Vickery Graham Rance Polo
Outs: McMahon (Please god let it be so) Browne Cousins Raines

Rance - He looked good in the NAB Cup game against Collingwood give a chance seemed to be quite composed in defence which we seemed to lack Thursday night.
Vickery - I know many of you may not have liked the pre-season performances by this boy, but he has potential the faster you get him to 50 games the better but play him as a key forward and maybe the very occasional run in the ruck. Lets get back to the days when we had Stafford, Ottens, Ben Holland (even though he was a shocking player late on is his career), Benny Gale and Richo, we were all about height and were able to at least play competitve football. We didn't get thumped by 83 points against what was nothing but a mediocre Blues outfit that we made look really good.

B: Newman Thursfield Rance
Polo McGuane Moore
C: Thomson Tuck White
HF: Morton Richardson Brown
F: Riewoldt Simmonds Nahas
R: Browne Foley Deledio
I/C: Graham Hislop Jackson Hughes

I dont care who goes out, but i guess it's-
In: Graham, Hislop, Hughes, Nahas, Thomson, Rance, Polo
Out: Cousins (inj), Raines (inj), Bowden, McMahon, Tambling, Schulz, Edwards

I can understand most of your outs but it's Tambling I am confunsed about what's going on there, i actually thought he played alright on Thursday he really put in chased and tackled.

FOR RICHMOND TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
We need more Matt Whites in our line-up, the kid runs himself into the ground, chasing, tackling, getting the hard in an under ball, he is courageous and always puts in full effort into everything he does.

WHY RICHMOND AREN'T SUCCESSFUL:
Because we have a whole team of players like Brett Deledio who don't seem to put in effort. I saw last year against Melbourne Deledio put pedal to the metal and streamed through the middle of the ground, that is the only time since his 1st season I have seen him do that. It got me excited. When Deledio does run fast he always has to ball already he is never trying to chase down an opponent. All about 1 percenters guys. In saying this it is not just our lazyness that brings our downfall it's the inability of about 4 or 5 of our players that continuously week after week give the ball to the opposition. We string together 5 minutes of good play for it all to be undone with a simple defensive error.
