I think we'd take that. We know that the boys are capable of playing power football...when they want to. The players we got back will be better for the run and we can only improve from here. With Lloyd back next week...all is set for a strong finals series with all the pressure seemingly on the shoulders of Brisbane, Port and Adelaide (of all teams)

1. M.Mercuri - Slowly gaining some touch. Came to the fore when the heat was on.

Yep, i thought it was a good win, the boys were made to work hard for it (as expected) and a win like that is good for the club with the finals approaching.

3 M.Mercuri.....good to see him find some touch, started to turn it around in the last quarter v Sydney last week.
2 J.Misiti.....back to his usual 25-30 touches, good sign..we need him firing.
1 C.McGrath.....best game he's played for the club, well done son.

NOTE: Mark Johnson.....great second half, showed how much we've missed him the last couple weeks.

Bolts and F-Knight were sensational on buckley, they didnt let him get a lot of easy possessions and most of his kicks were under pressure, buckley (although everyone though he was best on ground, i must have been watching a different game) really made no impact on the game cause of these two kids, and both gave us plenty of drive

wellman was very good down back, tarrant had a few but wellman was solid

mercuri showed a lot of spark, rioli wasnt to bad

we were great in patches but there is a few things we need to iron out before the finals but im sure our absolute best is just around the corner
