Chaffey just missed out.
I don't want to start another thread so I'll post my little review here.
The game was sh|thouse. If we couldn't get banned I'd be swearing like there was no tomorrow.
Our first quarter was good, that was when Fremantle were chipping it around and stuff, but it was the only good quarter of our's in THE WHOLE GAME. Now excuse me If you don't agree but that can not be tolerated.
I think it was late in the 2nd when Cameron was used as an extra man in defense, it didn't too much. They were kicking long and direct while Cameron and others ran around in circles. We were SLOW, FLAT and it looked like we COULDN'T BE BOTHERED.
While I'm admitting we were pathetic today I can not go without mentioning the disappointing effort of the maggots in white. It was something like 22 Frees to Freo, 14 to us. We deserved SO MANY more free's and when they counted the most. Fremantle got goals out of the free kicks missed.
To make matters worse, the cheer squad left in the middle of the last quarter. The Docker fans at the back of the tier were dishing out tons of abuse - as were the bogan's in the below tier. Goal after goal they would look up at us, stick their finger up and yell things like 'F--- you' and their were young kids younger than me!
There was a few good moments though like when Rodan was in the middle of our 50, dodged 2 players and kicked a lovely goal in the first. Also when he assisted in another goal that I think was in the last, great play it was.
I think Holland has done his knee - it didn't look good. I was on the other side of the ground but on the big screen you could see his pain.
Oh, I can't help but slip in here the 2 lovely captain goals by Campbell!
Nope, I'm not happy. The only game I can see live this year and we are belted by 66 points. Such is life.

3-poyas-was puzzled why danny took him off in the 3rd.but was the only spark in our fwd line.
2-torney-shut farmer out and played a good game despite it was against the odds.
1- rodan at least he had the balls to take on his opponents plus his running goal was a ripper.
on behalf of us melb fans #1 please accept our appolgy for a bad performance by the boys and making your only "live" game one not to remeber.
maybe we should pass the hat around to get you over here for the return match against freo!

lol that would be good except I think I'd rather see a match against one of larger rivals e.g Carlton, Essendon, Collingwood even Hawthorn. But geez you wouldn't think it but some of the Freo fans are so feral.

letem be feral except in the cold hard light of day a full strength tiger outfit the result would have been the other way rouind. but oh well i guess we have to wait 15 weeks for that

Couldn’t believe that only once the game was completely gone (having been slaughtered in the middle all day) did they put Rodan, Poyas and Coughlan into the middle. Only thing that made me smile all day. And wouldn’t you know it……….we actually started to win some ball out of the middle. Hopefully they won’t pigeonhole Poyas as a forward. Tiges have a habit of doing this………remember Justin Murphy? These guys are the future.
