Nope.

I am tending to disagree !!

Clive has never been the person in his career to say he was in form. He is the bright purple patch player. He will play the game for 15 minutes and snag you 2-5 goals & that is all. Love him or hate him for that but at the end of the day count up his stats & he did his job  ;)

No spider Burton, Have they got anther Ruckman apart from Porter?
Yeah Porter will ruck most of the game with relief coming from Petrie and maybe Sav. Porter looked to be struggling a bit last week, so you guys might get a handy advantage if he isn`t 100%.

This is the final side.

Clive is in!

Good to see Parker and Koops back...
What are everyones thoughts on Clive being in the squad? I think he should only be in the squad when his form with Claremont warrants it and at the moment he certainly does not deserve to be in our best 22.

While I do think that clive needs to find some form, he hasn't been getting the kind of delivery / fitting in with the gameplan at Claremont. In my opinion, Clive should be given a go in preference to a guy like Troy Longmuir, I mean I like T.Lo as a player, but so far this season he has done nothing.
Hopefully being back in the team will spur clive back into action and he can gain some confidence from a run at the top level. I don't think he have much to lose by giving him a go.

Agree with you there Rob, personally I would have dropped Walker first. James Walker is a liability as is Luke Toia. Toia never really got a fair crack at it but Walker has had more opportunities than is reasonable. I know they can't all be stars but after this amount of time you would think he would be serviceable. Walker continues to cough it up and does more harm than good. TLO is a player who is not given as much opportunities as walker and is marked on a much harder guage. Now why is that? I think TLo adds something to the team whereas Walker is a liability.

They dropped Sandilands? WTF for? Unless rain is forecast for Sunday, it surely can't be bad form.

Might be playing Ducks and drakes, I see he is named as an emergency.

If he doesn't play that will put a lot of pressure on Snake.

Against richmond I thought we looked better in the middle in the last Qtr when the ogre went on the ball.

As I said he never is a form playre he is a burst player & on current form Claremont would be battling to win a game at Amatuer level

Best to get him out of claremont and get some team spirit happening. Bluey Mc kenna is is fast becoming the next Damiun Drum.

Yeh I agree with you there, Walker never seems to be able to stab a pass directly to another player, but rather drop the ball onto the boot and loop it high towards a teammate.

I guess the only reason Sandilands got dropped was because we needed another "pure" forward in the team if you can call it that. As tall as Sandilands is, if you had a bloke like Clive up forward in form (wishful thinking) then he should be able to take some pressure off Croad, Medhurst and Longmuir.

I wouldn't be surprised if Clive or Parker are late withdrawals from the game and Sandilands comes back in though.
