:D Thought I would save people time and they can just quote this and just leave the last part unchanged.

Webberly and Tuck aren't playing for Coburg today ;)

Browne has been Coburgs best up to half time (again) Must be knocking down the door surely

At the ground now, roof is closed which given our last wet weather performance, I'm pretty happy about!

Positives:
Where to start, there are just so many to take out of the game. First off our midfield unit is going to be outstanding. Martin & Cotchin are all class, Conca will be as well, just so composed. Houli and Grigg provide the hard link up run we've been missing. Was really impressed with our ability to run out the game as well, in the first 4 weeks we really fell away in the last quarter but today we turned it on. The game of whipping boy Nahas applied real pressure up forward, took the game on through the midfield and for the most part took the right option every time.

Negatives:
Now to the not so great things. Made some really basic and stupid errors at times coming out of the backline, missing simple targets which lucky for us weren't capitalised on. Poor discipline again. Jacksons elbow could see him miss a week or 2 possibly 3 with his bad record from last year and King might also find himself in trouble as well for the bump on Pratt. These sort of stupid things just have to be taken out of our game.

Changes:
Depending on what happens with the MRP there could be 3, but for now I'd maybe look at Vickery out with Post coming in, but would have to look at the reports for the Coburg match.

Postive's

Nahas, Jumping Jack's teamwork, Pushup King, Martin :D

Negative's

Graham, McGuane

Changes

Out: Graham, McGuane, Nason

In: Browne, Thursfiled/Astbury, Webberly/Batchelor

Post wont be playing. Hasn't found any form at Coburg so is definately not going to be playing next week.

Disappointing to read as last week all the reports were he was very good, need him to start putting things together on a weekly basis.

Jacksons elbow was stupid and he knew it. He will be gone for a few weeks. However, Jake King had eyes on the ball and went in hard, won the ball for us and had me out of my seat cheering his name. Not one part of me wants us to stop that.

If he gets suspended for that it's crazy.

Well done tonight Tigers, and Well done Jake King.

Was the Jake King one where he and Pratt dived in for the ball? Pratt ducked his head a little bit which didn't help him. If he gets weeks for that, I will dump a pile of shit at AFL house

Yeah, that was it mate. No way kingy will go for that....I hope:o

It was just a case of him wanting the ball more and not giving a crap who or what was coming. Amazing stuff that earn't him priase from commentators, fans and players!

Was a major hightlight for me tonight!

2 guys going for the ball, nothing in it all and when they actually contacted both players were on the ground.

Positives: We held on for a win. Nahas was good, maybe getting himself into some good form.

Negatives: Didnt really dominate against a team at a similar level to us. Really we only just fell over the line against them. And it still took us a quarter to wake up and realise the game has started.

Changes: Probably wouldnt change too much considering we are playing Brisbane next week. Jackson looks like he will miss a few so maybe bring back Morton and play him in the midfield like we did late last year and perhaps give Browne and Post a game.

The way the MRP gave Cotchin 4 weeks against the Roos last year for attempting a spoil it wouldn't surprise me to see King get 2 weeks with a guilty plea bringing it down to a week.

Positives:

- Martin is absurdly good, my love for him has gone to a whole new level. He completely dominated tonight.
- We found a way to win, this has been a real problem for us in the past. 10 minutes to go and scores were tight I thought 'surely we can't lose again' but with 29-30 minutes on the clock and a goal and a half up I actually got to relax a bit.
-Our midfield offensively. Jeez there's some talent in there. Grigg kept us in it in the first half, Cotch is pure class, Foley looked like the Foley of old and Houli racked them up (although he was a bit wasteful, particularly in the first quarter). Only real poor one was Jackson and I'm pretty sure he kept someone quiet.

Negatives

- Our midfield defensively. Too often I felt North were able to just coast through the middle without any pressure whatsoever. It's cliched but we need to start running harder both ways.
-We lack one big bodied key defender. We simply had no one that could go with Petrie. We should target one in next years trade season.
- Our first ****ing quarter. Seriously, we may as well give the opposition a 5 goal lead and then start from quarter time every match. Must improve on this going forward.

Postives:
Martin - freak
Cotchin - does the hard stuff. Our midfield general.
Conca - didn't do a lot but what he does, you can just tell he will be a safe bet and a good player
Grigg - recruit of the year
Riewoldt- 5 goals and plenty of asissts. Basically, every time he touched the footy, we scored. That's what I like.
Nahas - Tripod is good when he gut runs.
King - perhaps one of our top 10 performers now? Seems to be a barometer.
Foley - just saw a little bit that suggested he can recapture it all

Negatives:
Graham - woeful performance
Vickery - has improved this year but needs to start imposing himself on games. I don't expect him to star...we are not going to get that with him, but I do expect him to be dominant at stages.
Houli - plenty of it, but was noneffective

Postives :

Obvious.

Negatives:

Defence.
- Too many 1v1's, lacked a 3rd man too many times.
- Players not dropping back fast enough.
- Players not presenting when there's a kick in.

Positives -

We didn't play very well and managed to grind out a win
Martin - Deserves 7 Brownlow votes for that game :thumbsu: Must get 3 though
Nahas - Just very very good today... minimal stuff ups
Graham - Again lion's share of the ruck and his attack on the footy and tap work looked improved.... need to have another look on the replay though. Gee we need some backup though
Midfield goals - Needs to happen and is starting too.
JR - I thought he was just average (ok, prob bit better than average) and he still kicked 5 and had a presence.
Conca - Really got amongst it up the field and just looks very very composed.
Houli - Best game for the club

Negatives -

Deledio - kick the ball Lids and kick the bloody thing long
Team attempting to crap itself when we got in front - stupid options late by Lids (stupid short kick in def 50), Cotch (booted it 20 metres over Nahas head from a kick in) and Rance (hit a Nth bloke from a short kick in def 50). I guess it's hard to remember how to win.... but we got it done
Graham - Well not Graham but lack of support for him. Needs to play less minutes or he'll be stuffed 1/2 way through the season. Rotate games through our 2nd ruck options. I don't want to see Miller having to ruck again.
1st Quarter - Somebody tell these guys what time the game starts.... our starts are becoming a serious problem.

Changes -

Edwards - surely they won't forget to drop him this week.
Tuck not to be sub next week.
Nason didn't have quite enough intensity for me but ran to the right spots enough. One effort in the last had me fuming. Not sure if the tv showed it but he had an option to go with his man to the ball in our forward line, decided not too and his man ran over and got involved in the play and got an easy touch. Really annoyed me. Drop him for Morton if he's earned it.
Vickery - Bring in Post/Derickx
