Three games on Friday, what a treat!

Good news for those that have him or are looking for a downgrade, Ambrose trained with Essendon this week and is a chance to play. If not at least he's close. (Source AFL site).

Also loophole opportunities galore for Fantasy this round, for me I'll be taking the beamer out for a spin.

Who knows what Roo can do, would be a good pod but Swanny safe.

Vests going to troll me this week I can tell. Taylor/Cutler/Langdon all possibilities. And if you believe AFL in mind games wouldn't be surprised to see Hanley as a late out.

Matt Crouch going to be playing anyone know? My only one I'm not certain that will play in RDT.

As for Fantasy, I've bought in Fyfe with no midfield E's as Ellis and Michie have vanished. Hoping Cutler isn't vested or I'm going to end up with his shitty score unless I put Griffiths or Webster on field. Cutler and Jay Kennedy Harris (no other options as injuries have messed with my team and Tom Williams is out).

Will be using Swanny as the loophole option. Hopefully he can pull out a 150+ He needs 140+ to be loopholed. Any idea on what Roo will score?

Im chucking it on watson. hsas been rubbish but a good pod if it comes off

SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME THIS LOOPHOLE. I still don't understand it lmao.

Step by step guide for noob pls

The AFL Fantasy blokes who write the articles have him tipped that he'll go huge and lead everyone in score this week. Wouldn't be surprised either, his form is outstanding. The man runs around the field and gets touches then kicks a bag of goals too. Best player in the game if you ask me right now.

Make someone playing in a game before the partial lockout VC. E.g. Swan.

Make someone playing in a game after the partial lockout C. E.g. Ablett.

If Swan gets 80 or something, keep Ablett as C.

If Swan gets 150 and you want that as your C score, during the partial lockout put a player on the field who is not selected and make them captain, then make someone in their position who is selected an emergency to cover them.

Your captain gets zero, your emergency score counts and your VC score is doubled.

Am I doing it right?

You forgot to say if they get ~115, it is a mind f*#!

Still not sure who will be captain in RDT. Will be a last minute call, everyone has got their pros and cons

Partial lockout? Loophole VC?

For fantasy (not RDT). Partial lockout for the two early Friday games, then full normal lockout for the Friday night game onwards. Basically you can still make changes to your team for players not involved in the first two games. See a post a few above to see how to loophole your captain choice.

Edit: just to be clearer

Partial lockout: when games start earlier in the week than usual (ie before Friday night) then Fantasy has a partial lockout. This week Collingwood/Essendon/Bris/Saints teams will be locked from the start of the EssvColl game, however you can still continue to make changes in your team to players not involved in those two games up until the start of the Friday night match (NthvFreo).

Loopholes: Abusing partial lockout rules to your advantage. Eg (as few posts above) put your VC on a player in the first two games today, if he goes well then use the partial lockout rules to make your VC score count as your captain.

Thanks. Going to put the E on Dunstan as well and field Ellis if I'm content with his score. Otherwise Tyson will get his last chance.

reading this I dont think you are using the loophole correctly. If ellis plays, you are stuck with his score. The loophole is around captain/vice captain & a non playing player.

Really? From memory in the past I've been able to use this strat (thanks poor planning and team management)

Ellis was listed as an out, not sure why they'd risk him as an emergency after last week.

anyone know how to use your DPP trade where you trade out a rookie defender, to upgrade to a premium defender, but your DPP rookie defender is switched to the midfield and you upgrade through the midfield rookie? I cant figure out to do it, it usually just randomly pops up.

All of a sudden when you go to complete a trade, it pops up with all of your midfielders giving you an option to trade 1 of them out, even though you selected your DPP rookie defender.

Hope you sorted it out B&G, I haven't had to do it yet so not sure, I think there's something in the general questions thread.

Pendles to be tagged according to pregame talk with bomber just moments to go (whip off the VC if you have him?) Can't decide late minute to go McEvoy or Hickey in RDT. McEvoy for now.
