Combined score of 60, that’s one more point then the 59 we scored Friday night.

There was negative press around the 36-36 draw a month ago between us and Richmond I wonder if they’ll be any word of the low score from the media.

i hope not, conditions didn’t look good.

Would I be correct in saying that our Round 8 and 9 games are against West Coast and Fremantle or vice verser? Anyone know when the fixture announcement is?
Geelong first, because us and them have a 14 day isolation period to serve, next two games will be v the Perth teams.
After that, who knows?

Id be livid if I was a dogs supporter. So many inside 50’s, dominating general play yet 4 goals down.
Umpires are super inconsistent in this one. Pulling frees out of their arse in the bloose fwd line. Same incidents get nothing I n Dogs fwd line.
Saying that, Dogs are pretty soft without the Bont performing.

I reckon Jack Martin would outmark Cox in a marking contest.
I honestly want to cry when I see small players use body work and strong overhead ability and then have to watch Cox run around aimlessly and go up with 1 hand.

Jack Martin also doesn't get double-teamed, pushed under the ball early, held.

Mason is in our side for the long bomb clearance and get-out kick. He is very rarely a target when 1v1. We kick it to him if he leads when there's space.

what you meant to say was heis able to work, move and create one on one opportunities for himself
Similar to all of Carlton’s trio of tall forwards....when’s the last time you saw Cox work his man over and create those one on ones for himself?

Cloke got triple teamed weekly too but still found ways to work....

I get your point, but you don't judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree. Have you ever seen Jack Martin mark a ball 3m from the ground unassisted? 😉

im just tired of the excuses people make for him.

and then I see other tall forwards or even small forwards that can mark in a contest or 1v1 simply by being smart in body positioning or high work rate to get rewarded —and we have to put up with a guy who doesn’t even have 1 effort at the ball let alone repeat.
