Agreed. I've had it with billings. I thought last weeks 80+ was enough, and he may have been on the up. But it now, despite his opening round 121, it appears 80-90 is his cap. Not good enough from someone I had sitting in the top 3 fwds during the pre-season.

McLean or Gray will come in for me. Langdon will go out after his second injury set back. (got him back in due to his -2 BE). Not sure who to downgrade to from Langdon. I already of Guelfi.

I've been really good at not making any sideways premo trades. Just focusing on rookies. I think I will be breaking that rule with Billings this week.

Think I might cash in English for McInerney, and use the proceeds to upgrade Holman to anyone half-decent.

Plenty of spuds I could trade out but they are all the irritating types who do well the week you get rid of them, like Parker, Savage, Acres, etc.

After all that huffen and puffen last night, I will now keep Billings and continue the focus of building my team. My original rage trade was Billings to Pettrucelle and Holman to Mitchell, but I am going to hold off with that!


Holman looks like he needs a rest and with Barlow back, he will struggle to get mid time.

Barry doesnt look up to it, I brought him off the bench because I thought he would play a role in the absence of SPP, but he isnt able just yet. Will likely stay on my bench because of his BE.

Coffield may get need to be 'rested' after a quite performance. He isnt an issue as I have 2 playing players on the bench.

Poholke will be omitted, so that becomes an issue as I still have Venables. Thankfully his DPP doesnt make it a massive problem atm.


So my trades will look something like this.
Holman (M7) to Petruchelle (DPP)
Brayshaw (M9) to Deledio (F3) by moving Poholke from F6 to M9

Was going to upgrade one of my rookie mids this week and Holman has nominated himself very strongly!

The other trade, upgrading Christensen or downgrading Brayshaw if one of this week’s debutants looks like a good cash cow option..

I have Dow as well but on my bench, and feel that he will get better as the season goes on so don’t want to jump too early. Plus he’s hardly made us much coin yet.

Looks like a number of good rookie options to downgrade to this week: Ronke (78), Cunico (93), Galluci (88), Guelfi (73), Mutch (71), Spargo (75), with Worpel (49) and Mirra (58) not bad for bench options.

Guelfi, Galluci and Cunico might be bit more overpriced but probably still have cash to make
