Sorry Jod, been offline a few days....

Now D, i know you said no correspondence, but surely you'll make an exception? ;) The way I see it, Cuz is our 'link man'. Yeah, he does get a fair few 'soft' possesions, but without him the efforts of the rest are next to useless. Ever seen us when we weren't connecting? Its not pretty.... missed handpasses, turnover central... you get the idea. But when Cuz is there (and when he plays he's EVERYWHERE,,, never stops running), he is the connection between say, the in and under Kerr and the running Chambers etc... I used to be a stong critic of his disposal (remember that Jod? ;)), but he really has improved it, and is invaluable to our team. You won't agree I know, but so be it :)

EF. :)

btw... I haven't explained that very well... but I hope you get the drift anyway

I understand completely, and I never said he had a bad game. But as per our converasation on the weekend, it's a matter of perception... I rate such players differently from how you do, and (it seems) from how most others do too. Nothing wrong with my or your angle, they are just different.

Simpson usually plays a similar role (although sometimes he is the in & under) and is similarly not as damaging as King and Pickett who run with the ball then hoof it long, or Grant whose disposal (until this year) was super-accurate.

3:Kerr - From what the news people said, he was on fire. Our little champ is proving he's not a one year wonder (hint hint, Hasleby).

A bit harsh D4E. Hasleby has been pretty good this season and is averaging 21.9 possesions despite playing a fair bit of time in the forward pocket. On the other hand, Kerr is averaging about 17.4 possesions a game.

I'm not saying he's playing a whole lot better than Kerr (about even I'd say), but I would hardly call him a one year wonder.

Hasleby's a very good, underrated player. If he hadn't spent so much time with that back injury I doubt there'd be much criticism at all. :)

Is he over that injury or is it a long term problem?

Haselby only really got his one year wonder tag because he couldnt back up his first year due to bad form and more so injuries. He seems past that now and is playing some great footy, I'd still prefer Kerr though.

Said in a light hearted manner :). Hasleby is a great player, and apart from his 2nd year blues he seems to be coming along nicely.
I'd have Hasleby in my team anyday.
