Port vs Rich (Cornes, Boak, Burgoyne, Bowden, Deledio)

Coll vs Carl (Lockyer, Swan, Fraser, Pendlybury, Gibbs, Murphy, Judd)

Stk vs Ess (Goddard, Riewoldt, Fisher, Gilbert, Stanton, Winderlich)

might go my new recruit marc murphy on debut. got 95 and 135 against the pies last season and is looking in fine form this season. i reckon he can get 120+

Probably Corey or Cox for me. The Pav could be an option, but he hasn't posted a huge score this year, and doesn't look to be playing forward enough to rack up the extra 20-30 he got last year.

Sorry if he's bit of a roughy - only scored 120+ last two games, playing MF with ablett out and was the second highest scorer by points and third highest scorer by average in 2008.

True though, roo does look nice. Ive only used corey and cox for captain options this year - havent been game enough to venture onto chad, goddard, montagna, gibbs or riewoldt.

Chad v richmond though might be tempting - i like his sequence of scores too:
Rd4, Rd5, Rd6, Rd7
129 , 87 , 129 , 90....

I also like his history against the tigers(most recent listed last):

124, 108, 56, 125, 65, 102, 120, 44...

He looks due does he not (by that supposed *law* of averages)?

Fisher last 3 scores against Essendon- 101, 100, 113 (I haven't included the 14 he scored against them in 07 because I presume he got an injury?)

Will probably go with one of Fisher/Goddard/Murphy/Gibbs.

im struggling for options this week, with ablett still out, swan under some injury clouds and not favouring cox over sydney.

atm i am considering chad cornes/lenny hayes and even aaron sandilands.

fair to say hawthorns ruck division isnt up to aarons standards.

stats for ruckmen against hawks this year

rd 1: Ottens - 124
rd 2: Jolly - 144
rd 3: Mcintosh - 114
rd 4: Lade - 74 and Brogan - 71
rd 5: Cox - 138
rd 6: Ryder - 99

if these stats are anything to go buy u'd say he would be a shoe in for a 100.

will asses my options on friday.

Dont rate fisher as a captain option.

I want 120+ from all my captain picks generally (well thats what I hope for) and I dont think fisher has a high enough ceiling that he will reach that consistently - I suppose this may be one of those 2-3 games each year he scores that 120 though....

Tossing up between Gibbs and Riewoldt. Collingwood seem to always provide high scoring games - so that is tempting.

I'm definitely going Bartel this week. You can't go past no score under 100 this year and against North Melbourne, hardly a premier midfield.
