Whether Houlihan was good or not in the VFL today, we needed his run and skill tonight and It's fair to say that he would have kicked 2 goals which would have given us the win.
Russel is pathetic.. I cringe everytime I see the ball in his hands.
Wiggins is a spud of the highest order as well. The only reason he is getting a game is because he bleeds navy blue but unfortunatly he is too inconsistant and his skills aren't up to AFL level.
Hampson is a worry. He and Sam Jacobs are freakishly similar. Both giants, and serviceable in the ruck but cannot kick to save their lives.
Give Austin another week. As to Cloke as he needs to prove himself against his old club.
Fisher has been playing good footy in the 2's and we are desperate for another forward target as fevola played the worst game I have ever seen him play.

Please watch a game of VFL football before you post rubbish like this, especially about Fisher. I hope Fisher never plays another game for Carlton, he cant get a kick in the VFL so why should he get a go in the real stuff. Id much prefer to see Hartlett come in and persist with someone who actually has a future at the club.

Houlihan was dropped because he didn't meet his targets... so I seriously doubt Fev met his targets tonight... so he needs to be dropped either due to injury or having his second petulant game for the year.

Cloke/Wiggins and Russell out for just having 2 really really bad weeks in a row, but since we're playing Collingwood I feel Cloke will stay just for the against old mob mentality.

We need to make Waite a permanent forward next week, with Fisher, Garlett, Yarran and Eddie crumbing. Waite for class, Garlett, Yarran and Eddie for crumbing and X-factors and Fisher for he can take a bloody mark.

What we need is people prepared to ****ing chase, harass and tackle. Doesn't take skill to be able to do it - all about having the correct mindset. If you're not prepared to work hard enough, I'm sure there's a plethora of guys in the seconds willing to come in and do what's required.

Get every player to sit down and watch St.Kilda go about their business. Every player puts 110% in and never stops chasing. If we had that type of attitude we would not be were we are now, 3 - 4. Bring Garlett and Robinson back, they may not be the most skilled players going around but at least they put in.
