Hey all.
Looking for a router recommendation. Currently using a Technicolour TG799vac that was delivered by my ISP. I live in a roughly 80sqm apartment. Router lives at one end of the apartment, living room is at the other end of the apartment, roughly 15m. We are finding that sometimes when streaming video or attending zoom meetings, we get choppy connection. We have tried moving the router to the center of the apartment, but there is no good place to put it, and when it is left low to the ground, it also causes choppy connections. We currently have FTTC Broadband on a 50MBps plan.
Looking for a possible replacement. I don't need a high end router. I don't online game other than downloading updates for console (plz don't hate on me
) Just something that allows us to work from anywhere in the apartment and stream video at the opposite end of the apartment to the router.
