Controversial middleweight boxer Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter who was convicted of and ultimately had his convictions set aside for a triple murder in Paterson New Jersey in 1966 has died of prostate cancer aged 76.
The Hurricane was immortalised in both Bob Dylan's song and the Denzel Washington film.
