Lets say david hille got injured.. who would replace him? and from 1 to 10 who are our best rucks

Ryder with Laycock backing up. Ryder's tapwork pretty much saw the demise of Carts and condemned him to further down the pecking order. Wouldnt hurt for Bradley to pick up some stoppages around the ground and learn the craft a little more.

It depends on who we're playing. If it's Freo, than anyone will do because it's not going to matter!

You would hope Laycock steps up next year as well as play most of the season.

Ryder will be a better player with another preseason under his belt, although is still fairly raw.

McKinnon is one hell of a tall fella, altouh you would only use him in an emergency next year.

Bradley will no doubt fill in here and there.

I don't think we need to recruit another young ruckman, but you never know we may do so to replace Cart's spot on the list. There would be a slight possibilty that we may recruit an experienced ruckman as an insurance policy, but then again I though we might do that last year so who knows.

I'm not really expecting anything from Ryder next year in the seniors. Just solid development and good performances in the VFL. Anything more would be a bonus.

Hille should continue his development. He's already a good ruckman, just needs to work on his hitouts to give our midfield some better supply.

Laycock is a bit of an enigma to me. If he can stay fit i think he'll be good.

Bradley is the other one. I like it when he's in the ruck because it gives him licence to run around like a midfielder which is his strength. Also good at clearances thought not so flash at hitouts. Bit of a Josh Fraser really.

Hille gave me the sh*ts this year.
Agree..needs to work on his hitouts..
....and how to kick the ball...and not handball all the time!!!

Next year is a fresh season and a start for all on the list..

I have a feeling Laycock will start to get serious about his career starting this pre-season. Hille will still be first ruck, but I think Laycock will easily have his best year next year.

If either of those two are injured Ryder will play, and then McKinnon will be the next option.

I hope so, as Im not yet convinced by him.

Laycock will overtake Hille next year to be our no. 1 ruckman. Ryder will be ready for senior footy the year after. We are in a good position with our ruck stocks.
thats a big statement there, in a way i hope ure right because that then means that we will have 2 of the best 10 rucks in the comp and it woudl no longer be one of our most poorest parts of the game

Well he has already started pre-season training, and was spotted sporting a Jobe Watson style buzz cut. Hopefully he has taken on a similar style training regime that Jobester did last year.
