This is the Yarra Valley-Mountain District Footy League forum. Keep your threads and posts relevant to this league and this league only.
Above all else think before you post.
1) Creating new threads: Search for threads on a topic which you want to discuss before starting a new thread. Read that thread through then add your comments. Try to make the comment more than just "lol", or "bump" or similar. Post threads that relate to the subject of the board you post on.
2) Adding Posts: Keep your discussion to the topic. Start new threads for new topics. Quote only those parts of a post to which you are responding. Respect opposition teams and clubs when you are posting on their Team Board.
3) Language and Grammar: Use Standard English words and grammar and do not use SMS or text chat speak or undecipherable jargon.
4) Courtesy and Respect (Argue the Point, not the Person): Discuss topics, but leave personal remarks out of the discussion unless they relate to the topic at hand.
Lastly: Take up your personal issues with other users or with moderators with a moderator or an admin rather than in public on the boards. If its a personal issue not related to BigFooty don't bring it on the forum.
