The problem is that a lot of people seem to like them, so they get crammed down your throats a lot, which is annoying when it's a band you REALLY don't like. I gave them a go, listened to some albums, even saw them at a Big Day Out. Talk about boring music, couldn't think of anything worse than seeing them at Etihad.

I never got the hate for these guys. I haven't listened to the latest album (which actually received some nice reviews), but Viva la Vida was OK and they've made some nice tunes along the way. A band like Nickelback - yeah they deserve everything they get, but I would've thought that Coldplay would be so inoffensive to people who didn't like them that they would just be left alone....
