Just bought the Maxwell Book, it's a great read but did anyone read it before printing? There is a typo on nearly every page and some of the spelling is laughable. ie "Won" when referring to the number one amongst many others.
So, this brings us to how the club has rushed out things before the ink is even dry on the scorecard. Road to Victory 2010 is terrible, I waited 20 years for the next edition and what was produced is quite frankly a disgrace.
My brother hasn't received a $2500 guernsey that he purchased on the Monday after the game and worst of all he hasn't even been contacted once to say when it would arrive etc, after numerous times of emailing and calling the club. My polo and t-shirt took about a month to arrive, when the same shirt was in store on the Monday after the game.
I understand we want to maximise revenue and make hay while the sun shines, but seriously we are meant to be a professional organisation. We should have sufficient staffing to be prepared for what was an obvious outcome of winning the flag. And FFS- maybe a quick proof read on a book wouldnt have gone astray.
Ecstatic about the win, no so much about the club since.
