Couldn't agree more. An absolute disgrace.
If this is the type of tripe that we are going to be dished up with year after year, then scrap the whole process.
3 of the top 8 sides had a combined player count of 1, with PA producing K. Cornes....both Melb and Geel missing out.
2 of the bottom 3 sides had a combined player count of 4.

Of course the ********house clubs are going to get players picked, because their good players stand out amongst rubbish support whereas the good teams are pretty good all over the park, more players around them to steal the limelight.
But still, Robertson missing out is laughable.

it has it's upside, perhaps he can yet again go under the guard a bit more then he could have if he made the team and get guys like Jared Rooke on him (no offense to the guy) and kick 7 and win us the match.

Joke.
In a past life, I was a NRL/ARL fan. They had to pick the best sides to play real games - sometimes say a gun centre would get picked on the wing, rather than the best winger. But if you were say the second best hooker and had a stellar season, tough, you missed out.
Too often I have seen players who couldn't crack AA in their actual position still get in the team, in an unusual poistion in which they rarely played, and rarely excelled.
And now Robbo, arguably the most dangerous small forward this season has missed out.
Absolute joke.
