Sack Demetriou

Something I have never understood is why are we wanting to sack Andrew Demetriou. It is the people under him like Adrian Anderson who have to be moved on.

The Australian Football League is a big business with so many stakeholders to please and disappoint, and so far, Demetriou has probably been outstanding as the chief executive officer. He has never backed down one of his arguments, he is clear and simple in what he documents, and more importantly, our game has become bigger than ever, and the only arguments as to why our game doesn't have him sitting in the front.

Then again, let's sack Demetriou and bring in, ummm...Anderson?

demetriou chose to employ anderson. that alone should have him sacked. both of them should be out the door.

Why is it that no one likes which ever CEO is heading the AFL? Wayne Jackson wasn't liked either and now Demetriou?

Don't really see why he should be sacked. Developing the game well and it's been in the strongest position under his reign than it ever has.

i respected the decisions Jackson made apart from him shutting down Waverly, in which i was part of the peacful protest after the match - at age 9!
