In terms of staying in the finals race this is must-win.

Wood a definite out. It will be interesting to see what we do with Hugo, does he get a shot at redemption or is it to the 2s? Boxshall and Tauru look like a couple of potential ins, along with Clark and Phillipou.

The worry is their midfield, as per usual. What have we got up our sleeves to start winning clearances again?

I think we roll the dice with Phillipou. There is no VFL so if we dont play him this week, we arent seeing him for at least 2 more weeks.

Collard has had multiple quiet games row and Henry put in a better performance in the VFL. This one is also risky but the upside of a fit Henry is higher than what Collard has brought the past 3 weeks.

Hugo out because you can't be dragged in the 2nd quarter and keep your spot. Boxshall backed up last weeks bog performance with another strong one. Time to reward him.

After being a strong supporter I'm over Monty in the back line. He needs to play on the wing with stints in the midfield or go back to VFL and wait for an opening. Perhaps with Wood out it happens.
Would like to see LOC back in this week and Monty on the wing.

Completely agree with Brynes. He seems to panic a bit much when in the backline (similar to DMac) while the wing suits his strengths.

I might be remembering wrong but is Jay Clark the one who is chummy with the admin at the Saints? I know that a lot of our good media comes through one specific sports writer and if it is Clark he might have good inside knowledge on it.

So we're pretty bad at clearance and they're very good at suppressing opposition clearance.
