How much room to move do you expect us to have at the end of the season?

Getting rid of White and Yze should create space however we need to get it down to 92% and we are currently close to 100%

I say this because I think we will need some space to lure Robbie Warnock ahead of other Victorian clubs whilst also finding new contracts for Jones and a few others in the coming years.

Jones is signed until the end of 2010.

We'll have a lot of room at the end of the season. Yze, Neita and White (Who would all be over 350K per year) will be out the door, we won't be paying another 200K to Brisbane for TJ's contract and we'll delist a few more players.

Getting rid of both Bruce and Green has merit - we need to free up the cap for one, we also need to shake the list up and trade some players, and these lads would at least have some value, both have been great for the club - but I reckon it would be a good move to offload both..

As much as a lot of ppl on here disagree, just my opinion.

Bruce is contracted IIRC but getting rid of Green would free up more room. However I'd like to try and keep Greeny and get rid of Bruce instead.

If we are operating at 100% of the salary cap then whoever makes the contracts deserves to have cancer pissed into their eyes. No wonder Brock donated $10,000. He is probably getting $100K more than he is worth.

Don't forget Holland, he'd still be on a ton.

And would we still have to pay for TJ next year?

99% sure we don't.

Unless he signed a 3 year deal at the end of 2006 (Pretty sure he signed one at the end of 2005) we won't be paying any further money towards his contract.

A lot of it is injury payouts as well I remember them saying.

And because we are so shit, the players who are on performance-related pay contracts (usually the lower end players) are getting plenty of match-time and therefore much more money.
