The local paper up here reported that up to 5 AFL Clubs are thinking about him, but the only one they mentioned was Collingwood. Would the Crows be one of them?
I don't think he is the sort of player that Port, or rather Williams, would be overly keen on but could be wrong. He is 21 yrs old I believe.

I bloody hope so. He would be a steal IMHO. He won't be taken early but I reckon he will go. The bloke is a dynamite.

If we do get him would he be the 1st Lebo to play for the Crows?????

being Lebanese generally makes someone a Sexual Persuasion themselves! :p

Either way, yeah, he seems like a talented player we could utilise...

Also, what is the story with Stokes from the Eagles? Looks like he can play a bit.

Too old? Too slow? Too small?

Can play. Too small.

As for Hassan, at age 21 he should only be drafted if it was genuinely believed that he could slot straight into the 22.

Do people think that would be the case?

I know what you mean..don't you just feel like smashin him sometimes?!?! argh! I had to laugh when he got pounded last weekend..then his head rebounded off the ground :D :D

Having said this, I wouldn't mind having this kind of talent at our club :p

Now that was a bloody courageous mark, reminded me of that Connell/Carey clash a few years back.

Make that

Height: 170 cm ;)

Height is the reason he has not been drafted last year and will most likely miss again

Football Budget says 178, Eagles site says 170. Whatever. He's only just come up from the U19s, and still makes a lot of mistakes. Needs a good, solid, 2004 in the League team.

No answers to this so far.

Is he good enough to get in our best 22??

If he's not at age 21 then why would we draft him??

He is not good enough to make our 22. I don't think we will draft him but I reckon Carlton might look at him. He would make their 22. If I was a recruiting officer with the blus I would seriously consider him.

He's actually Russian.
Nah heard an interview with him on 5AA on monday. He is actually Lebanese. His mother is Ukranian. They moved from Lebabon to Russia and then to Melbourne. Salim then moved with a couple of mates to Darwin to play footy. He played in a premiership side with Trent Hetnschel and Matthew Stokes. Last year Jock McLeod got into Westies ear about him and he came down to give it a crack.

It was a very interesting interview. I enjoyed it:)
