Nearly every top 10 in phantom drafts on this site is the same so i have decided to give it some more salt with reasons to its happening.
Priority pick Tom Scully (melb)
Vic metro captain, star midfielder enough said. Melbourne will pick him as their star recruit with the same reasons they picked Watts last year and none of the Perth boys.
2. Dustin Martin (melb)
i thought i would make things spicy. Personally i believe Jack Trengove is the best player in this draft but that does not mean Melbourne will pick him. Dustin is a hard refined midfielder who is definitely in the best 3 players in the draft. I just believe the Dees will opt for him over Trengove
3.Jack Trengove (rich)
pretty obvious pick, sublime midfielder rated best in draft, will be surprised to see him slip.
4.Anthony Morabito (freo)
Dockers have their mind set on the WA boy just like Stephen Hill last year, not going anywhere else
5.Ben Cunnington (N.M)
Would regret letting him pass at pick 5. Definitely deserves to be top 5, suits the roos and their spirit, will have big first season impact like Ziebell
6.Kane Lucas (SYD)
expected to be a slider but i think the swans will surprise taking Lucas over Rohan knowing they have pick 14 for safety.
7.Lewis Jetta (WCE)
no surprises here will immensely help young forwards LeCras, Kennedy, McKinley by crumbing their drops. Eagles could be a dark horse for a top 8 spot next year.
8.John Butcher (P.A)
Super talent, best kpp in the draft has dropped off but will be a star for port and has lots of time and oppurtinuty to develop
9.Gary Rohan (P.A)
you could argue his place in the top 5 and i think he is worthy of that but could slide. had great draft camp results, somewhat of a steal for Port. In my pesonal top 3 favourites with Trengove and Carlisle
10.Koby Stevens (ess)
tough choice ahead of tapscott but i think he will suit well and be better in the long run.
and that is my salty top 10 please complain or applaud just exprees your opinion.
