Can anyone tell me about this kid, ie: how good is he, would he be a top 10 pick next year and what about his attributes - speed, skills, strength etc....

Well early to say how highly he is rated for next year but would not be a top 10 pick at this stage. Having said that the top 10 for next year is about as good and deep as it has ever been.

Sheldon was listed at 180cms but that was in March this year so plenty of time to grow. Played well at the U16s Championships this year.

I have not seen him play but from reports he is a very skilled player and football smarts. Not that quick though. Has been down at the club and they had a very good look at him and is odds on to be picked next year under father/son.
Is working on his weaknesses. Same for Tommi Johnston who will play more TAC next year and hopefully grow taller and fill out a bit later on than most youngsters just like his old man did.

I would think if he is a certainty next year that we would not be allocating Guernsey no.5 this year.....Sam Sheldon will be presented that number next year.

My guess is that Mark Murphy will be offered number 3 or 9.....

Good thinking and it would be great to keep the number vacant to have Mckay and Kenny present him the jumper.

It's always difficult to tell, but next years draft will likely be the deepest in quality of any draft.
